Stretch Velvet only has a 2 way stretch, not the 4 way of our spandex dresses. If you are between sizes you can go down but we do not recommend sizing down a full size (if you are a Large in our ponte dresses get the Large, don't size down to a Medium if you size down to a medium in wraps/essential non velvet dresses).

Susan is modeling the Production XS. She has a 32" Bust, 25" Waist, 36” Hips, and is 5'9". 

Dawn is modeling the Production 3X. She has a 49.5” Bust, 43” Waist, 56” Hips, and is 5’6”.

Lynsi is modeling the Production L. She has 39” Bust, 33” Waist, 45” Hips, and is 5’5 1/2”.

Alterations:

You may wish to alter the hem or the length of the sleeves, but we are unable to hem them in-studio. We recommend getting the dress and trying it on before making any hemming decisions. You are best to chalk/pin the changes you want to take to a tailor. Because of the two way stretch of the velvet you may not need to get it hemmed if your body stretches the velvet out more because as you stretch it one way it shortens in the other direction.
